Wild swimming, especially in the sea has been a recent hobby of mine and has given me lots of inspiration to create these illustrations inspired by open water swimming.

I took inspiration from the water and waves that are formed from the swimmer’s strokes and I enjoyed playing with the idea of having the fish swimming with the people.

This artwork is digitally hand-drawn on the IPad and some of the textures used in the work have been created by hand printing paint onto paper and then scanning the textures into the work.

Made ethically using sustainable museum fine art papers. Printed in England and designed by illustrator and surface pattern designer Erin Donohoe.

The artwork is packed inside a cardboard-backed cello sleeve and comes with a few extra free A5 motivational art posters.
