Hello!
Erin Donohoe is a London-based illustrator and textile designer whose work is inspired by the wild, the gentle, and the often-overlooked moments of everyday life. Her illustrations balance playfulness with emotional depth, creating imagery that feels both visually striking and meaningful.
She is currently writing and illustrating her debut picture book, The Dog Who Lost His Smell.
Erin is the illustrator of Take Me to the Wild by Hayley Rawsthorne, a recently released children’s picture book for ages 4 to 8. Told through lyrical, rhyming text, the story takes young readers on a journey through mountains, rivers and the natural world, encouraging a deeper connection to the environment. Erin’s artwork was selected for the book’s cover, showcasing her distinctive and expressive visual style.
Alongside her work in publishing, Erin has created illustrations across packaging, fashion, stationery and advertising. Recent projects include an illustrated animated GIF for Earth Day Org and Northsix, designed to raise awareness for Earth Day.
Her clients include Five Mile Publishing, ARTHOUSE Unlimited, Clipper Tea, TK MAXX, Northsix, Jimmy Choo, UNSAID Jewels, WWF, Farnham Town Council, Making Matters, OxMarket Gallery, Les Courts Tirages, and Draw For.
Erin’s approach is both thoughtful and adaptable, whether developing character-led stories, crafting brand visuals or creating bespoke pieces. She aims to produce work that resonates, connects and lasts.
