About Erin
Erin Donohoe is a British fashion designer, children's book illustrator, and sustainable design researcher based in Surrey, UK. With over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, she combines commercial design expertise with a passion for storytelling, nature, and regenerative creativity.
After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design from the University for the Creative Arts in 2008, Erin built a successful career designing fashion and product collections for leading brands. She has recently completed her MA in Sustainable Fashion with Distinction, where her research explored regenerative textiles, natural dyes, and community-led approaches to creating a more sustainable fashion industry.
Working across both illustration and fashion, Erin creates joyful, character-led artwork inspired by the natural world, wildlife, pattern, and colour. Her illustrations celebrate curiosity, kindness, and imagination, making them perfect for children's books, educational publishing, licensing, and surface pattern design. Alongside her illustration practice, she continues to research and grow natural dye plants, exploring how traditional craft and sustainable design can shape the future of fashion.
Erin is represented by the wonderful Hannah Curtis at Creative Sparrow Agency.
